This food is a fresh frozen complete meal suitable for the adult cat. This food contains fresh beef, fresh beef heart, fresh chicken meat, chicken organs and fresh salmon.

This meal is rich in taurine. Taurine is naturally found in large amounts in beef heart and is one of the essential amino acids for cats. Cats need taurine for the optimal functioning of the heart and eyes. It is therefore very important for cats to get enough of this nutrient! 

In addition, Miauw Mix contains Omega 3 fatty acids through the fresh salmon slices. Most (brok)foods are very rich in Omega 6 fatty acids (vegetable materials) and a surplus of Omega 6 fatty acids is not healthy and actually promotes inflammation. Omega 3 also retains moisture better which you can see directly back in the skin. This is also beneficial and supportive for the kidneys, since kidney failure is a common complaint in cats. It has also been scientifically proven that a meal with lots of Omega-3 fatty acids has a cell softening and anti-inflammatory effect. Therefore, it has a positive effect on restoring inflammation in the mouth and gums.

The daily requirement of fresh meat for a cat is: 20 - 40 grams of food per kg of body weight per day.
