Beaphar CatComfort contains pheromones that are recognized by the cat. This helps the cat, wherever he is, to feel at ease. As a result, it helps reduce common behavioral problems, such as excessive meowing, fighting, aggressive behavior, conflict, avoiding others, hiding and anxiety.

The Beaphar CatComfort Calming Collar is very suitable to be used in new situations, such as introduction to new family members (human or animal), social interactions, training and with multiple cats in a house. The calming effect also supports cats in other stressful situations such as traveling, staying in a cat boarding facility, vet visits, thunderstorms, fireworks and loud noises.

When a mother cat is suckling her kittens she releases the Cat Appeasing Pheromone (mother pheromone). This plays a crucial role in the bonding process between mother and kittens. By using a copy of this pheromone in the Beaphar CatComfort Calming Collar, the cat continuously receives a reassuring message and it helps the cat, wherever he is, to feel safe and at ease. As cats are solitary by nature, this is particularly valuable for cats living with other cats in the house, to promote the relationship and harmony between them.

The Beaphar CatComfort Calming Collar is suitable for all cat breeds. It does not affect other species in the household and does not sedate cats. This product can be used alongside any medication.

The collar is effective for up to 4 weeks and if desired, a new collar can be used immediately afterwards. The collar can be safely used in combination with the Beaphar CatComfort Verdamper and Spray.

Directions for use
Do not open the sachet until the collar is put on immediately. Attach the collar around the cat's neck and slide the end of the collar through the buckle. Do not fasten too loose or too tight: keep two flat fingers of space between the collar and the neck. For kittens, check regularly that the collar still fits properly.

Make sure that the Beaphar CatComfort Calming Collar is in contact with the skin and that it does not overlap with any other collar, as this may reduce its calming effect. Cut off the excess part of the collar and put it in the garbage.

Put the collar on at least 15 minutes before a stressful situation. The cat's body temperature activates the effect of the collar, pheromones are released and have a calming effect.

Take the collar off when washing the cat.

Do not use on damaged skin. Not suitable for cats under 12 weeks.
